We collect both personal and non-personal information. Personal Information is information that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you and may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, hire date, phone number, identity of your manager, unit you work in, your employee identification number and details of your employer. Such information is only collected from your employer or if you voluntarily submit such information to us. Non-personal information is information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as survey responses, demographic information regarding, for example, user IP addresses, browser types, domain names, and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our Platform.
The personal information referred to above is used for the purpose of reporting on the Platform usage, point redemption, customer service or order fulfilment. For shipments of catalogue items, we provide the relevant fulfilment partner with your – or the recipient’s – name, address and, if needed, phone number. We may provide aggregated information regarding the use of our Platform to partners or prospects, but these statistics never include personal information.
We may use session or persistent cookies on our Platform in order to provide you with the best possible user experience. If you choose to set your browser to not accept cookies, you can still use the Platform – although this may impair some functionality.
RecognizePeers does not track your personal information across third party web sites or online services. We also do not authorize or enable any third party to collect your information through any advertising technology.
We may track and collect certain information through emails that we send to you. This may include, but is not limited to, whether or not an email is opened and links you click on. We collect this information to understand how our services meet the user’s needs.
RecognizePeers expects that you have received appropriate consent, according to applicable privacy laws, from your employees before transferring, in any other format, personal information to us.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
To ensure that we efficiently provide the information, products or services, we may share your personal information with selected third parties who are acting on our behalf as service providers to assist us in carrying out the services we were contracted for. However information about you that does not allow you to be identified or contacted may be shared with third parties. We may also disclose your information if we believe in good faith that we are required to do so in order to comply with an applicable law, court or regulatory order or other valid legal process or lawful requests by public authorities.
RecognizePeers offers you access to its Platform as an employee recognition and rewards program pursuant to an agreement with your employer, which governs the features and services you are able to access on the Platform. Please note that your employer and their designated representatives may be able to access all information you provide to the platform, including information you post or send through it, and information regarding any transactions or redemptions you make on the Platform. We cannot control, and are not responsible for how your employer may use such information. For more information on how your employer may collect, use or disclose information, contact your employer.
Please note that our Platform may allow you to upload or publish your own content (“Posting”) to an area of the Platform that may be viewed by all other users of your employer’s use of the Platform, including your colleagues or external to our Platform (e.g., social media). Such Postings may be associated with your name and any personal information that is included in such Posting. We cannot control, and are not responsible for how any third parties, including your colleagues or employer may use such information. If you choose to do such a Posting, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information included in this Posting. You may not include the personal information of any other individual in your Postings unless you have their consent.
Access and Amendment of Personal Information
If you are an employee of any RecognizePeers client, you may contact us to verify what personal information we maintain about you and update or correct any of it.

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
